Foundation Application Tips
Apply mineral makeup powder with a brush for a more
natural look, or use a sponge for more thorough
coverage. If you have dry skin, and/or wish for more
coverage, be sure to apply your Day or Night
Moisturizer, let it absorb, then apply your mineral
makeup. Even heavier coverage can be obtained by
applying the powder to your damp face with your
sponge, and/or extra layers of foundation. There is
no right or wrong way to apply our mineral makeup,
as the results should suit your personality.
To use a brush: Tap a minimal amount of loose
mineral foundation into the top of your jar (or a
small dish). Swirl the powder into your kabuki or
brush. Tap the handle of your brush against the edge
of your jar top to shake off excess powder. Buff on
face using a circular motion. Continue the process
until the desired color and coverage is achieved. If
you want maximum coverage, several light layers work
better than one thick one.
To use a sponge: You may want to obtain a
different look by using a makeup sponge to apply
your mineral makeup. Try stroking and patting on
your foundation. If you use a wet sponge, you will
get another different look. Use downward strokes.
